ATTENTION “NEW TO VSA” REFEREES – Fall 2010
If you would like to officiate VSA & SFL soccer matches on Saturdays this Fall, fill out the Blank Ref Form (from the link below) and mail or fax it to me no later than Sept 3rd. (If I do not receive your form, you will not be scheduled.) It is important that you fill it completly. Please choose carefully the age groups that you prefer and are qualified for. Newly certified youth referees will be assigned as U-5 Centers & U-10 AR’s. Make sure you list all teams that you can not officiate, if you do not know the Team Number, that’s OK, just list the gender and age group and I will find out the team #. As long as I have your team information, I will not schedule you to work when you are playing or coaching! Make sure you only choose the dates that you are available! Check your schedules closely to avoid conflicts. Don’t forget about important Fall dates that will interfere with your ability to referee. High School students, check your schedules for Homecoming, Sports, Etc. Once you send me your form, email me if you find additional Saturdays you cannot work. (Travel Players may have Saturday Matches, etc.) If you can only work at a certain time of the day, list the details. If you say you are available to work, I expect you will work. I will be sending an email to everyone that sends in his or her form about the details of the Referee meeting, which will be at Long Park, the date is TBD.
