Having won the Cedar Run District tournament and the regional playoff, the Battlefield HS boys soccer team, coached by Ott Pimsaen who is also a VSA travel team coach, advanced to the State Semi-finals to be played Friday night June 4 at Battlefield HS. Coach Pimsaen was named as the Boys Soccer Coach of the Year for the district. VSA players Brian Henken, Kyle Beach, and Jack Eaton were named to the First Team All-District squad. Overall the team had a season record of 14 wins, 3 losses and 2 ties. Congratulations Boys and Coach Pimsaen.
The Battlefield High School Girls Varsity Soccer team under Coach Kevin Hilton and Assistant Coach Tim Coughlin finished another successful year winning their 3rd Cedar Run Tournament in 6 years, and appearing in the Regional competition for the 6th time. The girls concluded their season with 13 wins, 2 ties, and 4 losses. VSA players Tessa Klumpp and Dominique Evans made first team All-District selections, as well as Tara Rotante, Alexa Wagoner and Taylor Kerxton who made second team All-District.
