(Haymarket, VA) VSA is proud to announce the club’s structure for the 2018-2019 season. Since 2014 VSA has made innovation and progression a core principle of its club culture which has seen tremendous success in player and team development in recent seasons. Today’s announcement is another sign of our core motto “Always Moving Forward” and an important step in our planning for the upcoming travel season.
“In the past three years we have continued to build a staff from the ground up and have invested in people who truly care about each other and the future of this club. I am very pleased to reward our staff with new responsibilities that will enhance the experience for our players and families.” commented Matt Lacey, Executive Director.
The new structure splits the club into two departments with increased leadership roles for Dale Parker (Football Department) and Dustin Butcher (Administration Department) who will report directly to the Executive Director. New additions to the club’s structure is the introduction of a Director of College Preparation & Education, Pre-DA & ECNL Director, Assistant NPL Director (U11/U12) and Director of Grassroots Development. These additional roles will provide a great holistic and personal approach to the membership.
“All of our staff believe in the project that we started 3 years ago and we are all very proud of the success we have had in recent years. However, after reviewing the club over the past 12 months, we do not want to look back, but rather move forward and we feel the new structure and positions will create an even brighter future. The objective is to provide more oversight and day-to-day involvement in all aspects of the club.” continued Lacey.
