VSA Sends Six Players To Inaugural PDP Competition in NJ

US Club Soccer will host its inaugural National Player Development Program (PDP) Competition, Aug. 10-12 in Westampton, N.J., featuring four leagues’ top collections of PDP standouts.

Per current id² and U.S. Soccer scouting priorities, the competition targets top boys born in 2005 and girls born in 2004-05. There will be four boys teams and four girls teams, representing the New England Premiership (NEP), New York Club Soccer League (NYCSL), NorCal Premier and Virginia NPL.

We are proud to have representatives from VSA on both the 2004 Girls and 2005 Boys teams. This is a great opportunity for our players to compete on a national stage and be seen by U.S.

Soccer scouts. Our players made the roster of 16 who will compete this weekend.

Congratulations to –

“We at VSA are so proud of all of our players and to see such a great showing from our groups in the inaugural PDP event is a testament to their hard work and our coaches. We have seen a dedication to excellence, and we know all six players will represent themselves, their teams, the club and of course the Virginia NPL with pride!” added Director of College Preparation and Education Bronson Gambale.

Good luck to these players, the teams, and the Virginia NPL out in New Jersey!
